How many items can I check out?
What are the limits as to how many items I can have out at one time?
Answer
Physical and digital materials have varying loan limits.
Physical Materials
Includes books, audiobooks, music CDs, magazines, DVDs, and Blu-rays. Patrons can have up to 30 items checked out on their account. However, a maximum of 10 DVDs/Blu-rays can be checked out at the same time. As such, a patron could have 10 DVD/Blu-rays along with 20 books for a total of 30 items checked out.
Digital Materials
Digital materials are limited based on platform. Some of our most popular digital resources include
- eBooks and eAudiobooks through OverDrive/Libby - 7 Loans and 10 Holds
- Magazines through Overdrive/Libby - Unlimited
- Streaming Video through Kanopy - 6 Downloads per month
- Music Downloads through Freegal - 5 Downloads per week
